My name is Jai. When I was about 12 years old, my grandmother taught me how to bake her family staple—7UP pound cake. From that moment on, baking captured my heart. We spent countless hours together in the kitchen, creating, learning, and sharing love through food. As she grew older, those moments slowly became just me, carrying on what she taught.

I lost my grandmother in 2024, but I never lost the gift she awakened in me. Her passing only strengthened my motivation to keep the passion she gave me alive. We shared the middle name Elaine, and through that name—and this kitchen—she is forever with me.
